With less than a week before the opening of The Lexicon Bracknell, four new lettings have been announced.  Retailers Cath Kidston, Moss Bros and Vision Express, along with Greggs have agreed to open at the £240 million development.

Lifestyle brand Cath Kidston will be opening a 1,745 sq ft unit, menswear retailer Moss Bros has taken 2,225 sq ft, Vision Express has a 1,745 sq ft store and the bakery and food-on-the-go retailer, Greggs, has signed for a 2,225 sq ft unit.  Richard Poyser, retail leasing manager for Legal & General, said:

“These new signings will further enhance the new retail in the town centre, which will total one million sq ft of retail, restaurants and leisure, including the adjacent Princess Square shopping centre.  The architecturally appealing town centre transformation is set to create a new social and cultural heart for Bracknell.”

The centre, developed by Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, a joint venture between Legal & General Capital and Schroder UK Real Estate Fund, is now 93 per cent pre-let or agreed.

Together with Bracknell Forest Council, the Partnership is investing over £240 million to transform Bracknell town centre into an exciting one million square foot shopping and leisure destination, The Lexicon Bracknell.

The Lexicon represents one of the biggest town centre regenerations in the UK. In addition to 70 new shops and restaurants, the project also encompasses improvements to the existing High Street buildings and the restoration and extension of local landmark, The Bull.

With a new 1,300 space multi-storey car park, provided by Bracknell Forest Council, and improvements to local highways, The Lexicon Bracknell is set to become one of Berkshire’s most convenient and vibrant shopping and leisure destinations.

A VIP preview opening of The Lexicon is taking place this Wednesday 6th September with the official opening on 7th September.
