The Lexicon Bracknell, the long awaited new £240 million retail development in Berkshire has confirmed that it will be opening its doors on September 7th.
Boots is among the most recent deals who have signed a deal to take 19,000 sq.ft. unit in the town centre, which now means 75.6% of the floor space is either pre-let or in solicitors hands, with 64,000sq.ft of the centre’s 580,000sq.ft space in negotiations.
Simon Russian, development manager for Legal & General on behalf of Bracknell Regeneration Partnership, says: “With so many sought after retailers on offer to shoppers, we hope that these stores will continue to transform the town centre and draw visitors from across the region as we prepare for the opening.
The opening of the long-awaited shopping centre is part of the town centres regeneration, which will create an estimated 3,500 jobs across retail, hospitality and security sectors.”
Marks and Spencer says its new store at will open at 10am on Thursday, July 27th; some 42 days before the other stores.
